Pianist Roy Hilton and saxophonist Simon Savage are both legends on the UK jazz scene with decades of experience at the highest level. In an evening of be-bop and hard bop from the 1940’s and 1950’s the band give new found freedom to the compositions of Horace Silver, Tadd Dameron and Dexter Gordon as well as similarly veined original compositions from Roy himself.
