Described as ‘One of the best vibes players this country has ever produced’ Nat Steele has wowed audiences at St Andrews on three separate occasions over the past few years. Taking inspiration from Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson and Bobby Hutcherson, Nat returns by popular demand for another concert of modern jazz classics – with Chris Coull (trumpet), London’s star pianist Sean Fyfe, and local bassist and drummer, George Trebar and Angus Bishop.v

Terry Seabrook brings his unmistakable swinging style and a lifetime of deep knowledge of the jazz standards to this outstanding trio performance. A master of groove, harmony and feel, Terry’s playing draws on the great traditions of the music while keeping things fresh, relaxed and full of energy. As part of my northern tour I am playing at the Hornby Village Institute, just outside Lancaster. With a voice that effortlessly blends sultry tones and dynamic energy, Louise draws inspiration from jazz legends like Carmen McRae, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O’Day and the Boswell Sisters.
