Chris Coull / Sara Oschlag Quintet

    In collaboration with Chris, their latest album “Just one of Those Things” has made rave reviews;

    “With this recording , Sara Oschlag confirms her position in the very front rank of contemporary jazz vocalists. Chris Coull contributes inspired and tasteful solos throughout and the rhythm section, led by the superb Mark Edwards, is an absolute delight. The result is a charming, beautifully arranged album of unhackneyed material with everyone at the top of their game.”

    Alan Barnes – Award winning saxophonist

    Taking cues from Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan and Shirley Horn the band play a mix of modern interpretations of jazz standards, luscious renditions of ballads and hard swinging classics that make for an engaging journey of music on the stage.

    Sara, originally from Denmark, stared off her career in her home town of Copenhagen before making the move to UK shores where she is a regular at festivals and clubs throughout the country.

    The Rhythm section comprises of Mark Edwards (piano), Dan Sheppard (bass) and Darren Beckett (drums).
